I like that he sticks to the facts, dispels the myths with hard evidence, and where there isn't conclusive evidence he brings in both sides of the testimonials. It's a very balanced book, and I'm sure will save me at least the $4.99 I paid in "snake oil" LI non-cures. Every physician diagnosing LI should hand their patient a copy of this book.

My son and I recently discovered that we are lactose intolerant. As a physician, I was somewhat familiar with lactose intolerance, but still had many questions, and sought a deeper understanding of the condition. It took a bit of searching, but I eventually came across Steve Carper's "Planet Lactose" website and blog, and learned about his books.

Mr. Carper is a professional writer (of science fiction books) as well as someone who was diagnosed with lactose intolerance in the 1970s, back when there was far less information available, and far fewer resources and options for treatment. He made it his mission to learn everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, about the condition and then to share all this information generously with others. I am extremely impressed with the accuracy, and the depth and variety of information of his website.
